The goal of the specification is to successfully creates Ariadne Identity Profiles without the use of openPGP. The ASP is the AIP stored as a cryptographic signature. AIPs describe a identity, whether it's ficticious or not, along with content that can be verified. Other identifiers aside from the profile name are not required, it's a matter of operational security, preference and the user's threat model. To be considered a valid profile the data is signed with a cryptographic key to ensure its integrity and authenticity.
- JSON Web Signatures or JWS to encode, secure, and transport profiles
- use either algorithm EdDSA with curve Ed25519 or algorithm ES256 with curve P-256

If you want to use a OpenPGP profile then a OpenPGP pair needs to be generated for proofs.
